Role Overview

As a Talent Development Manager, you will play a critical role in anticipating and meeting the evolving training and development needs of Cortland. Partnering with the VP of Talent Development, Directors of Talent Development, Talent, and Operations leaders, you will contribute to our culture and business strategy, enabling high performance and associate growth through the design and implementation of advanced talent development practices, experiences, and programs. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, human resources, related major, or equivalent experience preferred 
  • Stellar 3+ years of experience in learning and development with a demonstrated history of delivering training content and creating a highly engaging learning platform; experience in the multifamily industry preferred 
  • Stellar 3+ years of experience in Multifamily working with prospects, residents, and vendors is preferred 
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications 
  • 50% travel within assigned region with potential additional travel outside of assigned region for total for a potential of 75% travel in a month.  
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Ability to facilitate in small and large groups being in-person or Virtual 
  • Working knowledge of applications software (Funnel, OneSite Leasing and Rents, OneSite Accounting, UltiPro, Lever, DOMO, Notifii, and more) is preferred 
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with associates and stakeholders at all levels of the organization 
  • Spanish fluency preferred
