Role Overview
The Director of Asset Management supports the Investment team in the operation and asset management of multifamily and mixed-use assets through quantitative analysis, forecasting, project documentation and other administrative reports.

The Director of Asset Management supports the Investment team in the operation and asset management of multifamily and mixed-use assets through quantitative analysis, forecasting, project documentation and other administrative reports.
· Organize detailed financial information into reports for internal and external distribution
· Oversee quarterly reforecast process, including timeline management, and qoq variance reporting
· Oversee quarterly project status reports for all CEVF assets
· Track all affordability requirements, system wide, that govern rental rate on specific units at any given asset.
· Provide financial oversight on insurance claims as it relates to proper documentation around loss of revenue and receipt of business interruption proceeds in a timely manner.
· Track all ground leases across the system, ensure compliance, proper calculation, and forward budgeting of rental expenses. Ensure payments are made timely that payments are booked and categorized to the correct GL account.
· Act as the liaison between asset ownership and any governmental or other 3rd party entities pursuing right of way acquisition for various public works or transportation related projects.
· Maintain a listing of all retail spaces, a central repository of lease files, rental rates, expiration dates, and any 3rd party brokers engaged to lease vacancies.
· Act as the liaison between the Investment team and the property budget administration team which includes working with Revenue Management, Operations and the Investments team on implementation of new budgeting tools.
· Work with the Investments team on all assets slated for disposition in the forward 12 months concerning strategy around proper revenue and expense management leading into the sale period.
· Maintain the Centralized Tax Tracker to ensure it is accurate at all times for forward budget forecasting
· Maintain the Joint Venture Tracker which includes key dates in the venture, the POC for budget approvals and any other major decisions under the JV.
· Travel up to 75% of working hours as necessary to perform the duties of this role
· All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics or related major, or equivalent experience required.
· Master’s degree in related field preferred · 10+ years’ experience in real estate operations, investment or asset management
· Experience in the multifamily industry preferred
· Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
· Exceptional interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications
· This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports
