Role Overview

The Legal Assistant will provide critical administrative support that keeps our legal department operating at peak efficiency. The ideal candidate is efficient, organized, and experienced in handling a variety of legal tasks with professionalism and discretion. This role will include the following:

  • Reviewing and routing legal mail;
  • Processing legal invoices and expenses in a timely manner;
  • Organizing and maintaining internal case files and asset transaction files;
  • Maintaining bar membership and CLE records for legal team members;
  • Managing legal team calendar, scheduling appointments, booking travel, and tracking legal deadlines; and  
  • Preparing documents responsive to discovery requests, audits, and due diligence requests.

Qualifications

  • Strong 3+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant or Administrator (or other legal support role) within a corporate or law firm environment

    Familiarity with contract law, litigation support, or real estate preferred

    Strong organizational and problem-solving skills; high attention to detail and accuracy

    Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced setting

    Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across teams and with external stakeholders

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Sharepoint, Mimecast, and/or Coupa.
