Cortland Asset Management, LLC has a full-time opening for a Director, Investment Analytics in Atlanta, GA 30326. Job duties are to develop various types of financial models for real estate underwriting, mergers & acquisitions, and capital raising activities. Perform various valuation methodologies, including DCF, LBO, Comparable companies, Precedent transactions, and Sensitivity analysis. Conduct preparation and review of materials used in the acquisition and financing, including financial models, investment memoranda and management presentations. Participate in transactions from origination to closing including conduct due diligence, research, analysis, documentation as well as coordinate intermediary parties. Conduct research in new markets, as needed. Direct cross-functional teams and managing external partners on projects such as property management platform acquisition, portfolio acquisition and strategic partnership. Performing transaction modeling & structuring and developing robust analytical frameworks and financial models to evaluate and structure opportunities. Enhance and streamline the internal decision-making and external reporting tools, exemplified by the company-wide valuation platform and the corporate financial and planning model. Performing in-depth research on key areas, including the modular building industry, emerging build-to-rent markets, financial hedge pricing, and supply-demand dynamics. Respond to requests for data, research, analyses, etc. as needed. Leverage software such as Excel, PowerPoint, SQL Server Management Studio, and proprietary Python and VBA tools. 

Requires a Master’s or its foreign equivalent in Finance, Economics or related discipline. Plus 12 months of experience in job offered or related position in Finance/Investment involving M&A, Corporate Finance and Asset Management within an organizational structure using MS Suite Applications.
