Job Overview

As the Director of FP&A Corporate, you will play a crucial role in shaping the company’s strategic direction by providing insightful financial planning, reporting, and analysis that drives high-impact decisions at the executive level. In this high-visibility position, you’ll partner closely with corporate leadership to identify, address, and resolve financial gaps, enhancing the company’s financial processes with immediacy and precision.

Roles You Will Play

  • Develop the annual financial plan and interim reforecasts for the Investment Management and Property Management businesses, Shared Services, and parent entities, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, including variance analyses, delivering actionable insights to drive business improvements.
  • Create compelling ad-hoc reports, including board decks, profitability analyses, and scorecards, to support informed decision-making at all levels.
  • Maintain and update 5- and 10-year projection models, providing insights into future growth opportunities and potential risks.
  • Build dynamic financial models for both internal and external stakeholders, guiding investment and business growth strategies.
  • Prepare and maintain monthly cash forecasts, ensuring adequate liquidity for operational needs and strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of deliverables that uphold the highest standards of excellence.

Building Blocks of Success

  • 7+ years of experience with financial analysis, corporate finance, or accounting; real estate industry experience a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or MBA a plus
  • Thorough understanding of financial reporting and financial modeling, experience with Workday Adaptive is a plus
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication skills that will allow effective dialogue with all levels of management within the organization
  • Must demonstrate a strong sense of urgency, effective teamwork skills, strong initiative, attention to detail, ability to balance multiple priorities to meet aggressive deadlines, and readiness to adapt to change
  • Experience developing and presenting complex topics to senior management
