Job Overview

As a Delivery Manager, you are responsible for planning, leading, and organizing project teams in a dynamic and Agile-oriented business model to achieve high performance, quality, and deliver value. You will manage several concurrent high-visibility projects and teams in a fast-paced environment across multiple business domains.

Roles You Will Play

Project Management

  • Oversee multiple IT and Technology projects simultaneously, covering the entire project lifecycle from discovery to delivery
  • Coordinate both internal resources and third-party vendors to plan and execute projects effectively
  • Lead discovery and planning meetings to define project scope, schedule, milestones, delivery, and release plans
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget by actively managing project timelines and budgets
  • Identify and manage project risks to minimize their impact on project outcomes
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration
  • Generate project metrics and status reports to provide visibility into project progress
  • Continuously measure project performance and communicate key issues to leadership
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Business, and Change Management teams to facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and user training before project releases

 

Agile Management

  • Manage multiple Scrum teams concurrently, ensuring effective Agile project management
  • Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and demos with the team and stakeholders
  • Lead daily stand-up meetings and remove impediments or blockers to ensure team productivity and keep the sprint on track
  • Conduct sprint retrospectives to identify areas for process improvement
  • Lead sprint planning sessions and work with Scrum teams to ensure that the sprint aligns with team capacity and velocity
  • Collaborate with Scrum teams to deliver the sprint backlog and prepare the team for sprint demos and deployments
  • Timely escalate issues or blockers to stakeholders and leadership for resolution
  • Maintain and publish Agile Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as sprint velocity, burn-down, and burn-up charts
  • Identify and manage dependencies with other internal or external teams to ensure seamless project execution
  • Ensure that project management tools like JIRA, SharePoint, and Confluence are used as sources of truth for project-related information

Building Blocks of Success

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
  • 5+ years of IT or Technical Project Management experience, leading multiple teams/projects.
  • 2+ years of Scrum Master experience.
  • Knowledge of Agile approaches (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, Lean, etc.)
  • Demonstrated success using Agile performance metrics to drive team accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Experience managing large-scale digital transformations or enterprise-level implementations like ERP, P2P, SCM, CRM.
  • Experience managing Atlassian products or similar toolsets.
  • One or more of the following certifications preferred – PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, any SAFe Certification
  • Prior IT delivery experience in consulting and development/technical experience are highly desirable
